I'm Sick of being Sick (literally)

Sick of being sick... Where do I begin?

Since moving to the upper Midwest it seems that all I've been is sick; Sinus infection, diabetes, cold, acute bronchitis, migraines. My motto has been "I just can't get right".

In the last 45 days I've seen my doctor more times than I've seen my own family. I've taken more prescription meds than they're are spots on a leopard. I'm sure I could tell you the aside effects of all of them, too. Is it bad or good that the pharmacist knows me? Very nice and helpful by the way. She just loves our last name: Coach.

Not only have I had to change my diet, but I've never had to take so many pills with food! It seems like I'm constantly eating or I'm constantly taking pills. I guess its really both.

And again my poor husband. He is such a good sport. If only I could get him to pick up the slack like the laundry, the dishes and making the bed. I got tickled at his comment tonight: "Babe, when you're sick, so is the house. Its like everything just exploded. Things are everywhere". I can't really complain too much. He does make dinner; and I'm not talking take out.

I'm just sick. Sick of being sick and literally I am just plain sick. It seems that once I get over an illness, here comes another. Except for the diabetes. That will never go away. So, I'm constantly gonna be dealing with medication.  I might as well focus on the good: pharmacist, husband, doctor, and the Prayers from my family and their support.

God only gives us what we can handle and his plans make sense to him, for his reasons, not ours. As Joyce Meyers says "God carries us through tough times so that we can help someone else".

Looks like I'm just gonna have to suck it up and be grateful that I have health; I'm still breathing.  :-)
