Healthy New Year!

Each year, New Year’s resolution lists contain promises to ourselves to become healthier. Healthier is defined by most of us as lifelong changes in habits such as eating, drinking, and physical activity. Even if you do not need to lose weight, you should still follow healthy eating and exercise habits to help prevent weight gain in order to maintain good overall health. Regular physical activity not only helps to drop pounds, but it improves your energy level and mood, lowers your risk for developing heart disease, diabetes, certain cancers, and joint problems.

Make sure your diet is one that emphasizes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and fat-free or low-fat milk and milk products. Include lean meats, poultry, fish, beans, eggs, and nuts for protein. Choose foods low in saturated fats, trans fats, cholesterol, salt (sodium), and added sugars. It may be hard to stick to a weight-loss “diet”. With our busy modern lives, people are looking for practical, effective and documented as safe dietary supplements to assist in weight management, weight loss, joint health and everything else.

When making yourself new again. Make yourself aware.
